Chelsea Again on TOP

Chelsea regained its first position after the 3-0 win over Birmingham City.

Florent Malouda opened the scoring in the fifth minute and a brace from Frank Lampard ended Birmingham's 15-match unbeaten run.

The win put Chelsea 1 point over ManU and 2 points ahead of Arsenal with one game in hand.

Nicolas Anelka loves with Chelsea

Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka would love to extend his time at the club until 2014.

The 30-year-old still has around 18 months left on his current contract with the Barclays Premier League club but talks over a new deal have been mooted.

And Anelka, who has never spent more than two-and-a-half years at any club, says he wants to see out his best days at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea-2 Portsmouth -1

Chelsea beat bottom club Portsmouth to stretch their lead at the top of the Barclays Premier League.

Nicolas Anelka fired the home side in front after 23 minutes but Frederic Piquionne shocked the leaders by thumping an equaliser six minutes after the break.

However Frank Lampard sealed a hard-fought victory with a penalty 11 minutes from time to move the Blues three points clear at the top of the table.

Villa Upsets ManU

Aston Villa pullesd up their socks to beat ManU at Old Traffords 0-1. Thanks to that Chelsea is now at the top with 3 point leads over ManU
